Pre-Marriage Program

The Northeast Catholic Counseling Center provides opportunities for couples who are preparing for the most important relationship in their lives. Studies and research clearly indicate that couples participating in carefully designed premarital counseling create stronger and more satisfying relationships. For this reason, our staff provides the most up-to-date professional Pre-Marriage Program.

Couple Sessions
The engaged couple will have the opportunity to discuss specific issues and needs. Its purpose is to raise questions and identify concerns so that the couple may constructively discuss them. The FOCCUS Inventory is used as a tool in the couple sessions. These sessions are individually scheduled. Program fee is $150.00 per couple.

Classes
This opportunity will allow you to meet with other engaged couples in a group setting. You will find that the program emphasizes skill building in the areas of communication and conflict management. In addition to other necessary skills, it also presents an understanding of marriage as a covenant. Program fee is $95.00 per couple.

Couple Sessions and Classes
This option is highly recommended because it includes all the elements of the classes and couple sessions. It will best help the couple recognize specific patterns and trends in their relationships. The program fee is $200.00 per couple.
