In thanksgiving for Malala Yousafzai

Women’s History Month

Malala Yousafzai fights for every girl’s right to education and a life of freedom, in Pakistan and all over the world.

For her tireless and dangerous struggle, Malala is nominated to become the WCP Decade Child Rights Hero 2022. She received the World’s Children’s Prize for the Rights of the Child in 2014. Later that year, Malala was also awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. Learn about Malala’s life story here, and find out about her work for change here. In addition, find stories about children in Pakistan who have had their rights violated, and are inspired by Malala’s work.

“Some people only ask others to do something. I believe that why should I wait for someone else? Why don’t I take a step and move forward. When the whole world is silent, even one voice becomes powerful.” – Malala Yousasfzai
